Such great wisdom and ideas pushing us towards discovering our own genius and creativity.
I love having assignments.
Tania,
Thank you! Glad this was inspiring for you. And that you love the assignment! More to come next week!
I love this Cynthia! The early days of experimenting and determination DO carry you forward. No matter what the fears, we push on! Thank goodness you stuck with it – your wisdom is a balm for this crazy world.
Thank you so much, Debra. It makes me happy to think that my work contributes some sanity to this world. We need it!
Oh la la, so happy for the guest cameo from Xavier le Français! “Enjoy your innocence!” 😀
Great podcast, Cynthia, so fun to hear how you got started 20 years ago. Thanks for the inspiration and wise words, as usual. 🙂
Thanks, Heather! Xavier goes way back to your place in Paris, bien sur. 🙂
Thanks for listening. It’s been fun to make these. 🙂
Cynthia –
I really enjoyed listening to the podcast. I especially loved it when you said bold innocence is: “I want to do that. It looks like fun. I have no idea why. My heart says do it.” I think this is what keeps us sane and alive.
As a technical writer, I write a lot, but it is not always very creative work. So lately I have tried new things that I am not yet very good at, but I really like them, like quilting, learning Spanish, and doodling. Who knows, maybe I might even work on writing a book I started more than 10 years ago!
Also, j’adore Xavier. Il est tres interessante. M’excuse, mais, je n’ai pas un keyboard avec tous les accents 🙂
I look forward to doing your homework.
