Book coach for smart, soulful people ready to finish their book
You've carried this book idea for ages. It's time to write it down.
I’m Cynthia Morris, a nonfiction book coach based in Denver, working with writers around the world. For nearly 30 years I’ve helped smart, soulful people turn piles of ideas into clear, organized books, and then actually write them.
I bring two things most writers can’t give themselves: structure for your ideas and steady support through the fear and doubt that come with putting yourself on the page.
Author of The Busy Woman's Guide to Writing a World-Changing Book (starred review, Publishers Weekly) · Certified coach and leader (Co-Active Coaching and Leadership, QEC)
"Cynthia's supportive accountability was critical to keep me going when I otherwise may have quit….Her coaching was invaluable in getting a draft of my book done….Cynthia supported me through creating a book proposal that was far superior to anything I could have done on my own." Cynthia Lusk, author, Align and Refine
WHAT MAKES ME DIFFERENT AS YOUR COACH
Left-brain systems understanding
One of the main skills I bring to my coaching clients is structure.
Clients often say I have a laser-sharp focus and ‘hit the nail on the head’. I see what they don’t.
The clarity we generate allows them to get their ideas down much more quickly. But that’s only half of the work.
Right-brain
empathy
Writing is one of the most vulnerable and scary things we can do.
Three main monsters stand at the gate, preventing us from entering our genius zone of writing:
- fear of not having something to say
- fear of merely repeating what is already out there and
- fear of not being a good enough writer.
No one is immune to insecurity about writing - not even my smart, accomplished, and soulful clients.

“Signing up for Cynthia’s coaching is by far the best investment I’ve ever made. Three years of talking to my friends about writing a book, and I had nothing. Six months of Cynthia coaching, and I finished my book.” Rami Nuseir
