What if you had the space and support to focus on one writing project that you care about deeply?
Spring session: April 13 - May 15, 2020
Does this sound like you?
You have an unfinished manuscript or passion project on the shelf.
Dang it! You just haven't been able to finish that project that's dear to your heart. You’re tired of carrying the mental load of this “someday” project.
You can no longer tolerate the pain of not doing it.
This project just has to be finished. You think about it all the time but can't seem to get to it. You hear yourself say "I never finish things!"
You know you need accountability.
You want the connection, accountability, and support a community brings. You don't need another class with lessons to follow. You need kind, rigorous support to stay on track.
You could break through your blocks and finally finish the project that’s been simmering in your head (and on your hard drive) for years.
You felt empowered by your project instead of dragged down by the thought of it.
You had the kind of support that actually helps you move past excuses.
It's time to get past the old blah blah blah and WRITE ON.
Why Write on?
Members say yes to Write ON because:
“This project just won't go away.”
“I need to get this out of my head and into the world.”
“I know I can't go it alone.”
“I’m ready to feel empowered by my writing.”
“I thrive in writing community.”
“If I can do this project, I can do anything.”
Write ON is for you if you are ready to focus on one project and feel great about your writing.
A live 5-week online group facilitated by a certified coach and published author with over 24 years of writing & teaching experience.
Who Is This For?
Who have a hard time focusing on their own passion projects.
Who need to write a series of posts for their blog or newsletter.
Who want to get their message into a form more people can access through a book, keynote or course curriculum.
If you have a project that needs support and focus, this is the place for you.
You will LOVE Write ON because:
There's finally nothing in your way.
You can feel the integrity and power that comes from doing what you say you want to do.
You will love that someone finally doesn't let you get away with shrinking, playing small or resting in the comfort zone of all your old excuses.
When you focus on one project, you can finally get over the BS that has jammed you up until now.
THE COURSE IS LED BY SOMEONE WHO TRULY KNOWS HOW TO HELP YOU.
Inside Write ON, you’ll receive coaching from me, Cynthia Morris, a certified coach and published author who has helped thousands of people free their inner writer. I didn't just decide to lead 'mastermind' groups because it's trendy. This is my life's work and I love helping people in this way.
When I say, “I get you,” I mean it. I understand writers, artists, and other creatives. I have heard it all when it comes to what blocks us and motivates us. As a trained coach, I’m able to guide you in a way that gets results, while honoring your original impulse.
OUR COMMUNITY IS A CRITICISM-FREE ZONE
We don’t critique or provide feedback on your writing in Write ON. (We leave that for writing workshops focused on skill building led by writing teachers.)
You will love our safe space where you can be vulnerable and dare to write your truth. You’ll find a sense of belonging with your writer’s tribe and feel energized by the collective sense of focus and power.
Many creatives return to Write ON for multiple rounds just to be part of this community. This is a unique writing course for your book or anything else you are ready to commit to for real.
Our next session begins on April 13, 2020.
What you get as a Write ON member
Weekly Group meetings
We meet live online every Monday to start the week off right. Our video conferences focus on you and provide live coaching.
This isn’t a canned course, where you're on your own. Write ON is a live experience, giving you the accountability you need to stay on track with your project.
The sessions will be recorded for those who cannot attend live. You will maximize your experience by showing up every week.
We check in every Monday, Wednesday and Friday in our private online writing salon. This keeps you on track every week.
You'll get coaching from Cynthia every time you check in. No hiding, no falling behind, no losing momentum.
These check-ins are required; if you do not check in weekly, you will be asked to leave the group without refund. We're not messing around here! This isn't another class you sign up for and hope for results just because you paid some cashola.
With decades of writing and teaching experience, I'll share my best resources as you need them.
Members love how I am able to reach into my own archives and also connect with additional, on-point resources to meet you where you are and take you where you want to go.
No lessons to keep up with, no critique of other members' work. All your writing time is dedicated to your own work. Phew!
New! Evening session (or morning for Australian members)
Our meetings are on Mondays at 4:00 pm PST, 5:00 p.m. MST, 6:00 p.m. Central, 7:00 p.m. EST, 11:00 am next day in Sydney.
Mark your calendars for April 13, 20, 27 May 4 and 11, 2020.
These 75-minute sessions kick off each week and connect you with your coach and your community of writers.
You are free to telephone in instead of using the computer.
Private Online Classroom
The private online classroom is available 24/7. This is your space to connect with other writers (or not, depending on your needs).
It is NOT a private Facebook group with clutter, ads, and distractions. It’s a safe, focused place to get and keep your writing focus.
You get all of this and so much more…this is a transformative experience with benefits that extend far beyond writing.
Commit to your writing and finally gain momentum
The accountability and results are unlike anything else you've tried. Five weeks of a focused, live writing community, guided by a veteran writer’s coach who knows how to help people get work done - priceless.
Our next Write ON session begins on April 13, 2020.
This session runs live for five weeks. Your investment Write ON is only $500. Reserve your spot here.
Because of the high level of support and accountability, enrollment in Write ON is limited. Don't postpone your writing joy!
Meet your writing coach
I’m Cynthia Morris and I LOVE
helping people get unstuck creatively.
I’ve been teaching and coaching writers since 1996.
A writer since 1994, I have put my pen to many genres: short story, essay, roundup articles for newspapers, non-fiction books, how-to articles and blogs, course curricula, and even a historical novel.
One of my clients called me the Swiss Army Knife of writer’s coaches because of the range of experience I bring.
I’m a certified coach, working with clients and students as a coach/teacher since 1999. Lots of people offer writing workshops, but very few have over 20 years experience facilitating the writing process for students and clients.
Would you rather be in the hands of a 'famous' person who decides to teach a writing class randomly or someone who has been doing this work for decades? For me, that's a no-brainer.
What does this all this mean for you?
I know what works, and I bring my heart, kindness, compassion and rigor to my students and clients. I also walk my talk, consistently completing and publishing my own writing projects. I'm not a sidelines coach and that means more empathy, support and kindness for you. With rigor!
The rules of our writing salon are simple:
Everyone is welcome.
You and your process will be respected.
You are expected to treat others with kindness and support as you wish to be treated.
Everyone must commit to and stay with one project.
You agree to be coachable, willing to overcome old obstacles that prevent you from being a writer.
Empathy, kindness and rigor are to be expected.
No More Feeling Stuck:
Your Ideas Will Flow and You’ll
Have the Confidence to Follow Through.
Just Like These empowered Writers...
Write On is NOT
- Instruction in the craft of writing, although I will respond to questions about writing in our classroom
- Trying to figure out what to work on
- Feedback, critique, or “workshopping” for your writing
- “How to write a book in 14 days”
- A death march to the finish line
Write On Is Different
I designed Write ON for those who are ready to get over their blocks to finish their projects.
You will love feeling empowered by your writing project.
You will love what you learn about your process that you can apply to future projects.
You will love knowing what works for you to get your writing done.
You will love the freedom of never being blocked again.
The goal of Write On is to help you get started writing and keep going. Throughout the five weeks, you will identify and overcome blocks that have held you back in the past. Finally, freedom to write what you want!
What’s this worth? It’s impossible to attach a dollar sign to the kind of personal power we feel when we truly commit.
