It’s been awhile since I came for a visit to your blog but I’m glad I did so I could see this blog post! I’m doing a personal year-long challenge to Buy No New Art Supplies this year so I love seeing your colorful poster reminding me to use up all my supplies, which of course won’t be possible to do in a year since I have an ABUNDANCE of supplies =-)
A Happy New Year to you and may 2013 bring you Abundant Possibilities!
Monica,
This is a great challenge! You will have a lot of fun using those supplies!
You could also do other fun things with the challenge. You probably already have these in mind but here are some thoughts:
a photo series showing all your current supplies so we know what you have
ideas/plans of projects you will do to use your supplies
what you will do when you are tempted to buy new supplies – I struggle with this and am sure others do too!
a guesstimate of how many of them you will actually use in a year – could be a fun contest where you give a piece of art to the person who most closely guesses.
I see a lot of fun with this, ways to engage yourself and your readers all year long. I think doing this in a public way will inspire more people to make art.
I’m going to email this to you, too, in case you don’t see my comment.
HAVE FUN!
Well alrighty then, let’s get going! NOW !!! : )
Yes, Karen! I did something wildly creative today – did you? Hope it felt good!
