Welcome to episode five of Juju Infusion. Thanks for all the comments and support you’ve shared with me. It makes it that much more fun.
Enjoy this wee pause to inject an infusion of Juju – good, zesty creative energy – into your day.
In this episode:

- The Carl Show! Carl breaks news in Boulder, does magic at the table and asks good questions.
- Things I Love: Two Balls in a Sock
- Q&A: What’s the biggest block creatives face and how can they get over it?
- Journal Juju – Last week’s winner of the journal juju giveaway* was Kathy Loh. Who is it this week? Watch to find out!
*Winners of the journal juju giveaway must contact me with your address so I can mail your journal. Without that, I can’t send your journal!
To your juju infusion,
Cynthia
(There are no paid endorsements in this episode. Other than my own. Original Impulse Inc. pays me to do this silly show.)

Love this episode too. And thanks for featuring Carl. I resonate with the idea of visualizing what you want to happen…and the energy that could be generated by many, many people focusing on closing the oil pipes/valves. It’s WAY better than just feeling bad about it.
Thanks, Cynthia!
Anne
LOVE LOVE LOVE the two balls in a sock! I’ve done the one tennis ball, but never two- can’t wait to try it out.
Also thank you for talking about doing what you LOVE and being authentic- that is the BEST! Take a Stand- yes!
Once again, I’m soooo inspired, Cynthia!! And I want to WIN a journal one of these times- they are so cool!! 🙂
You’re welcome, Carl! Thanks for being the star!
@Anne, Glad you liked it! I’ve been meaning to feature Carl and even had a whole schedule of fun ways to do it. Then he went and got famous overnight on his own! I’m so proud of him.
Barb, Tell me how the Two Balls in a Sock works for you! I love it. Instant relief!
I thought I was on a bit of a rant and wasn’t 100% sure it was connected to my point, but I had to leave it in. I to speak authentically on my show, and well, there you have it.
You will win a journal. I am sure of it. Your juju is imprinted here and the scrolling will tell!
Another awesome incredible episode of Juju. Thanks Cynthia for all of the luv, magic and inspiration! Yes, we can make magic happen – believe
Love the two balls in a sock idea, too. I’m going to give it a try.
I am finding myself really looking forward to your Thursday episodes! I am consistently buoyed by your boundless optimism! Makes me want to be a glass half full gal!!
Two balls and a sock!!! Why did I not know this after all these years?!?! Thanks for the tip. And Carl! You da man. Good on ya for putting on the meditation initiative. It’s worked just as well as any of the other attempts the Coast Guard has tried down there in the Gulf, no? I’m all for that good ol’ positive energy thang. I’m thinking that your efforts musta had something to do with that 100-ton concrete cap they’re getting ready to put in place down there.
By the way, SO glad you’ve decided to go to Paris! I think it is the right move and where is there a better place to revise anyway? Many a literary great can’t be wrong (you soon among them).
My final comments are about the Amsterdam and Paris shrines. Fabulous idea Cynthia. It’s been a long time since I’ve built a shrine and I’m thinking now about one I will do for my writing class efforts.
Good show once again. Thanks for bein’ a swell coach.

two balls in a sock! Absolutely brilliant!! I’m usually hunched over my art table much more than I am the computer, but the resulting back stress is the same. Thank you for this, I’ll definitely have to try it. 🙂
Your videos are such an inspiration, I look forward to them every week – thank you for all that you do!
Yea! I am so glad that Two Balls in a Sock is a hit. I’ve been meaning to share it and even had a crazy idea for a movement:
Tennis players take their dead balls and mismatched socks and make TBiaS.
They then sell them to friends for $4.00. The money is then given to charity…I don’t know which one.
What a quadruple win – less trash, recycling objects, relieves stress (!!!), makes money for the less fortunate, and connects people through the awesome game of tennis.
There you have it. I’ve begun the mission. Spread the word.
Just know that the first time you lie on the balls it will be a very deep massage. Go gentle with it at first.
Thanks so much for watching and anticipating the show. I have so much more fun stuff to share.
I gifted myself this morning in bed(happy mother’s day to all) and just watched all the video episodes……what a great morning(while I wait for my breakfast in bed) thanks for the enthusiasm for life and love. Your show is fantastic! Look forward to staying tuned in…..
Eileen,
That makes me so happy – that my show is a treat for you to savor. I love the idea of you luxuriating in bed whilst someone makes breakfast in bed for you. That was what we used to do for my mom and I loved it.
Thank you for your kind comments and enthusiasm. I’m having a lot of fun and it’s great to know that others are loving it! Weeeeee!!
Susan,
So glad you look forward to my episodes! That makes me happy.
Michael, I’m glad you like my shrines! I have fun with them. It’s cool to know that men like them too, and they’re not a girly thing!
Cynthia, once again you’ve done a great job with the video. I keep looking forward to each new Thursday to see what’s playing. It’s like watching a TV show – can’t wait to see next week’s episode(though more creative and authentic – without commercials!)
Thanks, Carolyn! I feel the same anticipation…what will be in this week’s show?
I want it to be lively and about what’s happening this week. Watch for exciting segments this Thursday!
Well, I do have commercials – for Original Impulse things. My company does pay me to do this, so I gotta plug it!
