WRITE ON

Focus on a

writing project

you must finish.

WRITE ON

Coaching Group

 January 12 - April 17, 2026

Does this sound like you?

You have an unfinished manuscript or passion project on the shelf.

Dang it! You just haven't been able to finish that project that's dear to your heart. You’re tired of carrying the mental load of this “someday” project.

You can no longer tolerate the pain of not doing it.

This project just has to be finished. You think about it all the time but can't seem to get to it. You hear yourself say "I never finish things!"

You know you need accountability.

You want the connection, accountability, and support a community brings. You don't need another class with lessons to follow. You need kind, rigorous support to stay on track.

What If…

You could break through your blocks and finally finish the project that’s been simmering in your head (and on your hard drive) for years.

You felt empowered by your project instead of dragged down by the thought of it.

You had the kind of support that actually helps you move past excuses.

It's time to get past the old blah blah blah and WRITE ON.

You will LOVE Write ON because:

There's finally nothing in your way.

You can feel the integrity that comes from doing what you say you want to do.

You will love that someone doesn't let you get away with shrinking, playing small or resting in the comfort zone of all your old excuses.

When you focus on one project, you can finally get over the BS that has jammed you up until now.

THE COURSE IS LED BY SOMEONE WHO TRULY KNOWS HOW TO HELP YOU.

Inside Write ON, you’ll receive coaching from me, Cynthia Morris, a certified coach and published author who has helped thousands of people free their inner writer. This is my life's work and I love helping people in this way.

When I say, “I get you,” I mean it. I understand writers, artists, and other creatives. I have heard it all when it comes to what blocks us and motivates us.

I’m able to guide you in a way that gets results, while honoring your original impulse.

OUR COMMUNITY IS A CRITICISM-FREE ZONE

We don’t critique or provide feedback on your writing in Write ON. (We leave that for writing workshops focused on skill-building led by writing teachers.)

You will love our safe space where you can be vulnerable and dare to write your truth.

You’ll find a sense of belonging with your writing peers and feel energized by the collective sense of focus and power.

This is a unique writing course for your book or anything else you are ready to commit to for real.

Accountability Check-ins

We check in every Monday and Friday in our private online writing salon. This keeps you on track every week.

You'll get coaching from Cynthia every time you check in. No hiding, no falling behind, no losing momentum.

These check-ins are required; if you do not check in weekly, I will get super curious and ask you what's happening. We're not messing around here! This isn't another class you sign up for and hope for results just because you paid some cashola.

With decades of writing and teaching experience, I'll share my best resources as you need them.

Members love how I am able to reach into my own archives and also connect with additional, on-point resources to meet you where you are and take you where you want to go.

No lessons to keep up with, no critique of other members' work. All your writing time is dedicated to your own work. Phew!

Working Sanctuary! Private Online Classroom

The private online classroom is available 24/7. This is your space to connect with other writers (or not, depending on your needs).

It is NOT a private Facebook group with clutter, ads, and distractions. It’s a safe, focused place to get and keep your writing focus.

You get all of this and so much more…this is a transformative experience with benefits that extend far beyond writing.

Meet your writing coach

I’m Cynthia Morris and I LOVE

helping people get unstuck creatively.

I’ve been teaching and coaching writers since 1996.

A writer since 1994, I have put my pen to many genres: short story, essay, roundup articles for newspapers, non-fiction books, how-to articles and blogs, course curricula, and even a historical novel.

One of my clients called me the Swiss Army Knife of writer’s coaches because of the range of experience I bring.

I’m a certified coach, working with clients and students as a coach/teacher since 1999. Lots of people offer writing workshops, but very few have over 25 years of experience facilitating the writing process for students and clients.

I am the writing coach other writing coaches hire to get their projects across the finish line.

What does all this mean for you?

I know what works, and I bring my heart, kindness, compassion and rigor to my students and clients. I also walk my talk, consistently completing and publishing my own writing projects. I'm not a sidelines coach and that means more empathy, support and kindness for you. With rigor!

Our community guidelines are simple:

Everyone is welcome.

We all show up every week - no hiding, ghosting or bailing on yourself.

You and your process will be respected.

You are expected to treat others with kindness and support as you wish to be treated.

Everyone must commit to and stay with one project.

You agree to be coachable, willing to overcome old obstacles that prevent you from being a writer.

Empathy, kindness and rigor are to be expected.

No More Feeling Stuck:

Your Ideas Will Flow and You’ll

Have the Confidence to Follow Through.

Just Like These empowered Writers...

"There is nothing to lose with Cynthia's writing class. The shared experience is worth far more than the attached price tag, no matter who you are or what kind of writing you’re doing."

Linda Buchner

"I recommend Write ON if you want to give yourself permission and time to focus on your writing with a great coach and supportive group. "

Molly Nunnelly

"Cynthia's writing class has given me a lot of confidence. Now I don’t have to flounder around on a project: I can set my sights on something, and I can actually achieve it. I can, despite my busy life, make time to do these things that matter to me."

Linda Tate

"Write ON helped me drive a short story across the finish line."

Write On is NOT

  • Instruction in the craft of writing, although I will respond to questions about writing in our classroom
  • Trying to figure out what to work on
  • Feedback, critique, or “workshopping” for your writing
  • “How to write a book in 14 days”
  • Another class you invest in only to hide in the back row.

FAQ

How long will this take? Expand

Our weekly meetings are no longer than 75 minutes. All meetings are recorded in case you cannot attend a meeting.

Come into the private online classroom to do your Monday, Wednesday and Friday check-ins. The check-ins do not need to be long. They serve as a running record of your process and your progress that you can use to inform future projects.

This social accountability makes a huge difference, and getting coaching from me makes the writing process fun and easy.

So, 1.5 hours or so per week with the group in addition to your writing time.

What is the weekly schedule? Expand

It's a week full of support!

In our salon, we have weekly check-ins. Check-ins can be written, video, audio, or whatever. It all takes place in our private online salon, NOT Facebook!

On Mondays, we post what we will do that week. This sets your commitment for yourself and starts your weekly accountability to the group. We also have our group meetings on Monday.

You can post on Wednesday if sharing progress is helpful - whether you are in the weeds or celebrating.

On Mondays, we have our meetings. That's where we can break it down - what's working for you, what's not working, what you need help with.
Fridays, we check in with how it all went.
We'd love you to join us if it's right for you.
Do I need to have an existing project? Expand

Yes. The main power of this group is choosing, committing to and staying with one project at a time.

If you need help choosing which project to focus on, contact Cynthia after enrollment for email coaching to choose which one is right for you now.

Is this only for a certain type of writer? Expand

Not at all. Our community is filled with creatives, writers, and artists of all types and backgrounds.

People have written essays, short stories, blogs, course curricula, books and artist statements.

This is for people who have a project they are ready, willing and able to focus on. Not for people trying to figure out what their project is.
