My novel is inspired by a true-life adventure when I moved to Portugal and fell in love with a young rock climber. This is a story of daring, risk, great thrills, and disappointment. It's going great and I can see the story and writing getting better every day. This is so rewarding.
I am thrilled to be at my creative edge with this novel. I am only happy when I am working on a challenging, meaningful project. I believe that we are most alive when going for something.

I live next to City Park in Denver, where I take daily walks. I’m focused on being actively in love with my body. I love yoga classes and walks to the library, where I always check out too many books.
Steve and I are in our ninth year together. I love him more and more each day and am grateful for our lives together.
