Paris Juju – Pain au Chocolat

Pain au chocolat has nothing to do with pain and everything to do with pleasure. It’s like croissant pastry – flaky and light – with strips of chocolate baked inside.

Join me while I indulge in one as soon as I arrive in Paris.

“Ohhhh, there’s the chocolat!!” LOLOL. Please film and post every pastry feeding time! Food Network is starting a Cooking Channel. You could so compete with a Paris Eating Channel. Lots of hard work, but you’re all about that!!! :):)

Okay, this was almost torture. But I am very glad that you enjoyed each tasty morsel…especially that last bit!

    Karen,
Thanks! I have a few pastries that I need to catch up on:
    croissant
    croissant aux amandes
    croissant aux amandes et chocolat
I also plan to indulge in a yummy fruit tart and perhaps one of those whipped cream doo-dads. All for the sake of filming!
    Anne,
It is torturous! But you get to enjoy it without the calories! I’m taking the hit for you!

Once upon a time I decided it was time to “let go” even more than I already had, really enjoy the moments, stop worrying about others’ opinions of me, and learn to live fully. Then one day not all that much later, I discovered your blog.
Watching you eat a delicious treat, all fresh from your trip and in love with having arrived in Paris… what a free, in-the-moment, completely alive experience! You’re a magnificent teacher.
Thank you for sharing your moments of being your delightful, creative, inspiring self! Yum indeed…

"For years, I struggled with this belief that I wasn't good enough, that I wasn't a real writer, that I wouldn't be able to follow through. Your coaching and support opened something in me that had gone dormant.

With your words in my ears and my heart finding new excitement, I pushed the words across the page. My first novel is complete. You, dear Cynthia, helped me lay the dominoes. I can’t thank you enough for the motivation, the inspiration, and the reminder that I was meant to write."

Tabetha Hedrick

"Cynthia helped me drive a short story across the finish line. I recommend Cynthia if you want to learn about your own writing process in an experiential way and get practice on things like letting go of perfectionism for a greater goal."

"Because of my work with Cynthia, I have been able to embrace my artist's path and choose a lifestyle that truly speaks to my soul. Instead of trying to be and do everything, I now follow my true desires with courage, joy and serenity.

Cynthia is intuitive, down-to-earth, straightforward and honest. She can read between the lines, and she never lets me run away, give in and give up. Cynthia is a fabulous mentor and an amazing artist."
