FOODIES, ARTISTS, LOVERS OF PARIS!
Are you ready for a creative adventure unlike anything you've ever experienced?
An Illustrated Feast combines all the good things in life: food, art, Paris, and slowing down with a group of fun, vibrant, creative friends.
Cynthia Morris has curated a delectable experience designed to help you see, savor, taste and paint your way through Paris.
OUr Illustrated Days
Our focus is simple and joyful: line, color, texture, shape, flavor and fun.
You’ll spend your days out and about in Paris—drawing and painting on location, guided but unpressured, alongside playful, creatively engaged people.
We’ll work primarily in watercolor (you’re welcome to use your preferred medium), practicing in sketchbooks and creating 12 finished pieces you can turn into cards, calendars, bookmarks, patterns, or framed art.
By the end of five days, you’ll have a cohesive body of work that’s truly yours—a Paris food mini-collection you’ll be proud to bring home.
Where We’ll Work
We’ll meet in cafés, markets, gardens, and everyday food spaces, including:
- Iconic pastry shops
- Outdoor food markets
- Luxembourg & Tuileries Gardens
- Lavrut Art Supplies
- …and more
There’s space for your own culinary explorations, balanced with guided group time.
How you'll make art
- Painting with watercolors, coffee, wine, and salt
- Capturing texture, color, and flavor in watercolor
- Copying iconic lettering to evoke Paris
- Building a personal Paris food lexicon
- Adding simple word sketches to complete your pieces
By the end of our week, you will have learned how to paint in your style that expresses your joie de vivre
Get ready for the time of your life
~ What To Expect ~
This is a group experience that you customize. You choose your lodging and means of getting around the city - bike, metro, walking, or taxi - yet you are part of a group with a shared mission: have fun filling our sketchbooks.
Every day, we’ll meet for workshops to study ways to paint and write about Paris food culture.
Alongside a group of new creative friends, you will have a ton of fun learning and exploring.
You’ll also get to design your own Paris experiences. Spend the afternoon at a museum, visiting galleries, or as a flaneur. You will set your pace and fill your pages with your Paris adventures.
