If you are ready to write your book,
you've come to the right place.
Write Your Book
Coaching Group with Certified Coach Cynthia Morris
May 6 - September 30, 2020
Does this sound like you?
You have an unfinished manuscript or book idea you are hoarding.
Dang it! You just haven't been able to finish - or start - that book that's dear to your heart. You’re tired of carrying the mental load of this “someday” project.
You can no longer tolerate the pain of not doing it.
This book just has to be finished. You think about it all the time but can't seem to get to it. You hear yourself say "I never finish things!"
You know you need accountability.
You want the connection, accountability, and support a community brings. You don't need another class with lessons to get behind on. You need kind, rigorous support to stay on track.
Here's what I want for you:
You break through your blocks and finally write the book that’s been simmering in your head (and on your hard drive) for years.
You feel empowered by your ideas instead of dragged down by the thought of your book.
You finally have the kind of support that actually helps you move past excuses.
You know how to get past the old fears and doubts and write your book.
Ready to change?
If you hear yourself saying these things, we've got help for you:
“This book must be written.”
“I need to get this out of my head and into the world.”
“I have tried other things and still I avoid the book writing.”
“I have wanted to write a book my whole life.”
Write Your Book Coaching Group to the rescue!
A live 5-month online group facilitated by a certified coach and published author with over 24 years of writing & teaching experience.
It’s time to write your book. You know you want to, perhaps even need to write your book. Yet you don’t know how to get started, and you don’t know how to sustain your focus to get this project done.
I can help! I’ve been coaching writers for two decades and I know what it takes to focus, follow through and finish projects that matter. I know it’s hard to:
- Make time for something that has a future date instead of being constantly distracted the urgent things on your plate now.
- Muster the confidence to believe that what you have to say matters
- Trust that the materials you want to put into the book will be good enough and that your words will meet your readers where they need to be.
Who Is This For?
Who have a hard time focusing on their own passion projects.
Who want to bring their ideas into a book.
Who want to get their message into a form more people can access through a book.
If you have a book that needs support and focus, this is the place for you.
You will finally get help:
Clarify which book to write now
Identify your reader so writing flows more easily and authentically
Organize your content, deciding what stays and what can be used elsewhere
Get into your writing groove so you can write your book even in the busiest schedule
Gain confidence that this is the right book for you, your reader and the world.
What’s this worth? It’s impossible to attach a dollar sign to the kind of personal power we feel when we truly commit to a writing project that has been in us for so long.
Give yourself the gift of focus and support to finally gain momentum on your passion project.
You will LOVE this coaching group because:
There's finally nothing in your way.
You can feel the integrity and power that comes from doing what you say you want to do.
You will love that someone doesn't let you get away with shrinking, playing small or resting in the comfort zone of all your old excuses.
When you focus on your book, you can finally get over the BS that has jammed you up until now.
You will be in the hands of someone who knows how to help you.
Inside our writing salon, you’ll receive coaching from me, Cynthia Morris, a certified coach and published author who has helped thousands of people free their inner writer. This is my life's work and I love helping people in this way.
When I say, “I get you,” I mean it. I understand writers, artists, and other creatives. We like to think that writing a book is just a matter of sitting down and putting ink on a page. But a book that truly means the world to you also challenges you in ways you haven’t been able to deal with on your own.
I have heard it all when it comes to what blocks us and motivates us. As a trained coach, I’m able to guide you in a way that gets results, while honoring your original impulse.
Inside the safe space of our writing salon, we will address the issues that come up, helping you get past writer’s block once and for all. No muscling through, no hiding in the corner. I am trained in how to help you move beyond the emotions and fears that have kept you stuck for too long.
This is different than classes you have taken because the content is customized to the group’s members. You will have access to my tried-and-true book-writing strategies when you need them. The focus of our time is helping you figure out what to include in your book and how to get the writing done.
Your homework isn’t doing lessons that may or may not meet your needs. Your homework is writing your book. And I will hold you accountable to that.
OUR COMMUNITY IS A CRITICISM-FREE ZONE
We don’t critique or provide feedback on your writing in this coaching group. (We leave that for writing workshops focused on skill building led by writing teachers.)
You will love our safe space where you can be vulnerable and dare to write your book. You will feel energized by our group's collective focus and power.
This is a unique writing course for your book that you are ready to commit to for real.
What you get as a member of Write Your Book
Two group meetings per month
We meet live online twice a month. Our video conferences focus on you and provide live coaching.
This isn’t a canned course, where you're on your own. Write Your Book is a live experience, giving you the accountability you need to stay on track with your project.
The sessions will be recorded for those who cannot attend live. You will maximize your experience by showing up for the live sessions.
We check in every Monday and Friday in our private online writing salon. This keeps you on track every week.
You'll get coaching from Cynthia every time you check in. No hiding, no falling behind, no losing momentum.
These check-ins are required; if you do not check in weekly, you will be asked to leave the group without refund. We're not messing around here! This isn't another class you sign up for and hope for results just because you paid some cashola.
With decades of writing and teaching experience, I know how to share my best resources as you need them.
We will use content from my recent book, The Busy Woman's Guide to Writing a World-Changing Book to support our focus.
Members love how I am able to reach into my own archives and also connect with additional, on-point resources to meet you where you are and take you where you want to go.
No lessons to keep up with, no critique of other members' work. All your writing time is dedicated to your own work. Phew!

Private Online Classroom
The private online classroom is available 24/7. This is your space to connect with other writers (or not, depending on your needs).
It is NOT a private Facebook group with clutter, ads, and distractions. It’s a safe, focused place to get and keep your writing focus.
You get all of this and so much more…this is a transformative experience with benefits that extend far beyond writing.
Because of the high level of support and accountability, enrollment in Write Your Book is limited. Don't postpone your writing joy!
You will have the option throughout the program to add discounted one:one coaching or constructive feedback sessions with your coach.
Meet your writing coach
I’m Cynthia Morris and I LOVE
helping people get unstuck creatively.
I’ve been teaching and coaching writers since 1996.
A writer since 1994, I have put my pen to many genres: short story, essay, roundup articles for newspapers, non-fiction books, how-to articles and blogs, course curricula, and even a historical novel.
One of my clients called me the Swiss Army Knife of writer’s coaches because of the range of experience I bring.
I’m a certified coach, working with clients as a coach/teacher since 1999. Lots of people offer writing workshops, but very few have over 20 years experience facilitating the writing process for students and clients.
Would you rather be in the hands of someone who decides to teach a writing class randomly or someone who has been doing this work for decades? For me, that's a no-brainer.
What does this all this mean for you?
I know what works, and I bring my heart, kindness, compassion and rigor to my students and clients. I also walk my talk, consistently completing and publishing my own writing projects. I'm not a sidelines coach and that means more empathy, support and kindness for you. With rigor!
The rules of our writing salon are simple:
Everyone is welcome.
You and your process will be respected.
You are expected to treat others with kindness and support as you wish to be treated.
Everyone must commit to and stay with one book.
You agree to be coachable, willing to overcome old obstacles that prevent you from being a writer.
Empathy, kindness and rigor are to be expected.
No More Feeling Stuck:
Your Ideas Will Flow and You’ll
Have the Confidence to Follow Through.
Just Like These empowered Writers...
Write Your Book is NOT
- Instruction in the craft of writing, although I will respond to questions about writing in our classroom
- Trying to figure out what to work on
- Feedback, critique, or “workshopping” for your writing
- “How to write a book in 14 days”
- A death march to the finish line
