Your Creative Dreams
Are About to Become Reality–
Welcome to Your Working Sanctuary.
You’re here because you refuse to waste any more time.
You’re tired of your excuses for not doing that project that haunts you.
You crave the empowering effects of being in your creative flow state.
You want a mentor who gets you and helps you stay on track.
You thrive in community with like-minded, action-oriented creative peers.
Your creative work is calling you,
and you’re stepping into a new and exciting
chapter in your life. Welcome.
what happens when you answer your creative calling? imagine, one year from now...
No more brilliant ideas collecting dust
You’ve finished your book, launched your blog, or released your art into the world.
No more painful months, or years, stuck in writer’s block
You’ve finally figured out how to consistently make time for productive creativity.
No more feelings of guilt, shame, and regret about not doing your work
You’re riding the unbelievable high of your own creative joy.
Imagine how your life will be different
when your creative dreams match your reality.
How would it feel to own your creative power?
Exciting. Fulfilling. Liberating
But What If
“I don’t have time for my creative project.”
“I just can’t write. I’m stuck.”
“This sounds nice. Maybe next year.”
“Does the world really need another book (blog, painting)?”
“What if my work isn’t good enough?”
We’ve all had these thoughts...it’s normal.
This is your chance to make a different
choice—to embrace your creative calling.
Your creativity is a vital part of who you are.
It’s there for a reason.
Acts of creation are not optional.
Your project is Soul Work. It’s a deep reflection of who you are and how you see the world. It’s essential for you to finally capture it and share it in a form that’s right for you.
Your book, your body of art, your business idea…
It has to be made now. It’s time.
The Original Impulse Atelier
Designed for creatives like you...
A year-long live, online studio dedicated to your creative project with support, coaching, and community
Now more than ever, it’s vital that you claim your creative work. We are called to step up, to make a difference in the world with our creativity. The world needs your ideas, your positivity, your creative work.
Perhaps you feel a renewed sense of purpose and commitment for your creative project. Perhaps you feel the years slipping away to the busyness of life.
Perhaps you feel less than whole without this work in your life.
You know it’s time.
Yes, it’s time. I feel it too. So I took a page from the French. I designed a virtual creative studio, where together we do the work that matters most to us.
The Original Impulse Atelier is a working sanctuary to learn, grow and thrive creatively.
Unlike a traditional atelier, in the Original Impulse Atelier, we aren’t teaching art or writing skills. Instead, we move forward on projects that are meaningful to us and offer value to the world.
When it comes to making massive progress, you’re much more likely to be productive in a group. You fondly recall the days when you were surrounded by a group of creative comrades...the days when you each worked on your own projects, sparking each other to reach for your creative edge.
You can re-discover that creative joy in the Original Impulse Atelier, while being part of a facilitated mastermind group that brings real results.
Finally, a place to be inspired and productive on the work that drives real change in our lives.
Finally, a place that recognizes that creative work isn’t just a matter of disciplining yourself to just do it–making is a sacred expression from your soul.
I have built a space for us to focus on one project
that matters most to you. If you’re serious
about getting your creative work done
(while having fun), you’ve found the right place.
This is not a passive environment.
Atelier is a place for action takers.
There are plenty of classes that you can sign up for and hide out because the teacher isn’t present. The Original Impulse Atelier is for proactive creatives who thrive in a facilitated environment with dedicated peers. There will be fun, and there will be rigor. You're expected to honor your commitments and stay engaged in the Atelier and your project. You will finally have someone on your team that believes in you and your project.
As a member of the Atelier, you focus on one creative project at a time, and make consistent progress.
How it works
Attend Salon Sessions
(Live group workshops focusing on the different stages of the creative process)
We have 30 Salon Sessions on Zoom throughout the year, and you’re expected to attend most of them.

Atelier Members get seven coaching sessions with Cynthia Morris. The first focus session in January is 60 minutes. The remaining coaching sessions are 30 minutes.

Meet your coach, Cynthia Morris
I’m Cynthia Morris and I LOVE helping people get
unstuck creatively, so they can do the creative work
they’re meant to do.
A writer since 1994, I have put my pen to many genres: short story, essay, roundup articles for newspapers, non-fiction books, how-to articles and blogs, course curricula, and even a Paris historical novel.
I am also a watercolor artist and have created many bodies of work including illustrating a marketing book for artists.
One of my clients called me the Swiss Army Knife of writer’s coaches because of the range of experience I bring.
I’m a certified coach, working with clients and students as a coach/teacher since 1999. Lots of people offer writing workshops, but very few have over 20 years experience facilitating the writing process for students and clients.
What does this mean for you?
I know what works, and I bring my heart, kindness, compassion and rigor to my students and clients.
As Your Coach and Fellow Atelier Member,

Coach members through weekly check-insThis is where you feel the sense of ongoing support. We check in online on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Provide additional resources as needed
I’ve published many resources about the creative process, and I’m constantly finding new ones. I will find the right resource for your immediate needs.
Responsive email support
Sometimes you need to ask a private question or send an SOS. I’m here for you.
Provide brief feedback on written materials
For short text, like emails, website copy, or chapter drafts, I’m happy to have a look at a Google doc and give brief feedback. However, deep editing is outside the scope of our focus.
Share my process
I always work on a project, too. Atelier members find hearing about my project and process useful. They know I’m in the thick of it alongside them.
No More Feeling Isolated: You’ll be part of a community of seriously committed creatives who...
Crave structured time for creating
Focus on one major project to completion
Care for and respect our inner artist
Befriend the inner critic
Enjoy our talents.
