Creativity: Why bother? It’s much easier to be a consumer than a creator. What do you get from making things?
What we do daily defines and refines us. What do you do daily that makes you more creative?
In the studio for a creative quickie this morning. Are you getting some creative time in today?
I love my art life! This morning I woke up and realized that I needed to put my Journey Blessings on my work in progress board to see them all. It makes me happy to see them here and I have about 30 more to make. Pure joy and play!
Today I look at what we don’t like about the creative process and share a peek into my own messy process. I don’t like it….
Today’s Journey Blessing: Your luggage goes with you. I travel a lot and have used this blessing to make sure that my luggage always arrives with me. So far it’s worked, and I’ve never had lost luggage. Sending prayers of gratitude to the travel gods!
Happy Saturday, friends! Let’s make sure to make something today, anything. I’m going out of my comfort zone and going big with a large watercolor painting. My friend Cassia tasked me with this and I’m excited to try it. Don’t fear the blank page!
Going Places, 5×7 watercolor and ink 2013. This is one of the Paris paintings I sold in 2013. I always wanted to make a piece of metro ticket-related art and here it is!
I am so excited to go to Paris in May and June to work as an artist. I’m spending time in the next weeks getting clear on what that means for me. I worked with my art mastermind buddy @cassiacogger to explore my painting creative edge. I’m very excited to bring my art to its next level in just a few months.
Stay tuned for how you can be part of my upcoming Paris adventure!
My new @lisacongdon wallpaper in my office. I love it!
