30 Days to Loving Your Writing
I know you want to write every day. You crave
the zest and zip that expressing yourself gives
you. I’m offering a fun
and easy way to make writing a daily part of
your life.
It’s the 30-day Free Write Fling. Join the crowd
who is nurturing their love affair with words on
a daily basis. We’re talking about 15 minutes
per day to give yourself over to your Muse. A
quickie. A hot date with your Muse, every day,
for 30 days.
With the other free writers, you will write
daily and begin to worship your writing time.
You’ll connect with your voice, have fun and
make progress on a project if that is your
focus. After the 30 days are finished, you’ll be
hooked and won’t ever stand up your Muse again.
Bonus! And, if you complete the 30-day free
writing fling (every single day, 15 minutes per
day!) you will be
entered into a
drawing
for two one-one
coaching sessions with Cynthia.
It is easy
to sign up.
Easy to
follow.
Every Monday
during the
30-day
cycle, you
will receive
a
cheerleading
email from
your free
write coach.
At the
beginning
you’ll get
instructions
on how to
develop your
prompt list,
pointers on
when to
squeeze in
your daily
15 minutes,
and a
reminder of
the ways of
the free
write.
You’ll get a
daily prompt
which will
help remind
you to stay
committed to
your Muse.
You can use
these
prompts or
try your
own!
Daily email
prompts to help
keep you juiced
up, inspired,
and on track.
A one-hour

Community blog
where you can
post comments,
challenges, free

for others.
The best thing
about this is
the cost: for
this kind of
accountability,
support and
results, you’d
expect to pay
hundreds of
dollars, right?
The coaching
alone costs
$350.
Cost: $70.00
($2.33 a day --
that’s the price
of a coffee!) Or
register by
Monday September
15th
and pay only
$60.00
The fling starts
on October 1 and
ends on October
30, 2008.
Important
note: In
order to receive
the daily
emails, your
email program
has to be
receptive to
them. The
following
providers are
known to block
emails from me:
aol, yahoo and
Comcast. If you
use one of these
providers,
please register
for the Fling
using a gmail or
hotmail account
or you will not
get the emails!
If you need more
proof that the
Free Write Fling
will change your
writing life
(and the rest of
your life!) read
reports from
previous
Flingers:
“I loved
having the
incentive to
write every
day. Writing
is more a
part of my
life than
ever before.
I liked the
prompts, and
also loved
the
resources
you sent.
"I am so
proud of
myself for
doing it.
I've found
that other
areas of my
life are
opening to
the
creative.
I'm looking
into working
with someone
on a
business
venture. I'm
cleaning up
my space and
bringing
more light
into my
life. I'm
exercising
more and
deepening my
spiritual
practice. I
have more
energy. I
may not be
completing
any short
stories or a
novel,
but I'm
writing and
loving it.”

Boulder, CO
“I did it!
It was great
to get into
the flow of
writing
every
day--and the
time that I
spent really
added up as
I worked on
my novel.
Many days I
wrote for an
hour instead
of just 15
minutes, but
even on my
frantically
busy days,
the 15 or 20
minutes made
a
difference--if
only to
remind me
that I AM a
creative
human being.
Writing is a
great habit
to have.”
– Laurel
Kallenbach,
Boulder,
Colorado
“I signed up
for the
Fling to
help me
develop a
more healthy
relationship
with my
writing.
I've now
written
every day
for 38 days.
This is the
longest
stretch of
time I've
ever managed
to write
every single
day. Writing
in the
morning
meant that
doing
coursework
later was
easier since
it was
rarely the
first time
that I put
pen to paper
that day.
"I also
noticed a
more direct
effect on my
course
writing. I
managed to
solve what
seemed like
an
intractable
problem I
was writing
within
minutes
after I
finished a
free write
on a
completely
unrelated
topic. Free
writing
seemed to
free up my
mind for
other kinds
of thinking
as well.
"Thanks for
all the
advice and
support,
Cynthia. For
the first
time I am
feeling what
it might be
like to have
writing be a
part of my
life with
compassion
and healthy
motivation
instead of
with
coercion and
guilt.
-- Amy
Parker
“Woweeeee! I
did it!
Thirty-one
consecutive
days of free
writes! And
that was
accomplished
in spite of
being
rear-ended
on my
commute home
in the
middle of
the month
and numerous
days of
sleep
deprivation,
so the Free
Write Fling
was very
successful
for me.
"The Free
Write Fling
helped me
become
disciplined
in my daily
writing
practice
(and in my
life). I’m
amazed that
I wrote
daily for a
full month.
I can’t
remember
doing
anything
for 31
consecutive
days!
"The prompts
were very
helpful.
Sticking
with a
prompt
stretched my
writing. It
was
interesting
to observe
my attitude
changing as
I continued
to write.
When I began
writing, I
thought that
writing
daily would
be arduous.
While
writing
isn’t easy
for me, once
I began, I
found that I
really do
have a lot
to say.
Cynthia, I
want to
thank you
for this
great
opportunity
and
fascinating
journey.”
--Rosanna
Greenwood,
Aurora,
Colorado
"Mostly I
have learned
that I am a
person who
needs to
write on a
regular
basis NO
MATTER
WHAT! It
keeps me
feeling
caught up
with myself
as much as
possible,
like a daily
clearing.
This month
proved to
myself that
I can fit it
in
somewhere,
even at
midnight." –
Valerie
Szarek,
winner of
the drawing
for two
coaching
sessions
"I learned I
can actually
write, I can
actually sit
in the chair
and do this
on a
consistent
basis. That
ideas can
come from
anywhere and
that I work
best with no
clear-cut
idea. I
have tried
free writes
before but I
could never
see how they
really
related to
the writing
of a novel
or other
work of
fiction.
That has
changed."
– Kate
Robertson,
Idaho Falls,
Idaho
"Wow! I see
changes. I
see a
productive
writer that
is not
afraid of a
blank screen
or empty
page.
Inspiration
is
everywhere.
I can see a
renewed
commitment.
I am more
hopeful. I
see greater
self-examination
through my
reading. I
am more
centered. I
see this
carrying
onto all
aspects of
my life." –
Kim Nixon,
Marquette,
Michigan
Wow. Imagine
what writing
consistently
could do for
you.
