Wowsters love it
Cynthia has facilitated this training in Boulder, Costa Rica, Europe and mostly in Paris. Here’s what participants experience:
“I am absolutely still on a high! This workshop has affected me profoundly. I am tuned into all the sense of life more than before, because of our focus on the senses and really taking in our surroundings.” – Christine
“I really appreciate that i was able to take advantage of all that was offered and still have room to make art in my own way and at my own speed. The space in the program for doing your own wandering was perfect, and was well anchored by the daily meetups.”
It was great to meet other artists, and hear about their process. I love your process of de-mystifying art while showing the participants that there are so many different ways to make art. You are a lovely person to feel artistically safe around.”
“Working with Cynthia Morris has been an utter delight. Her warm open style encourages everyone to return to the curiosity we had when small.
With Cynthia’s encouragement and gentle guiding I’ve returned to a daily drawing practice at at time of much stress. Quickly the joy of color, composition and expressing myself clearly in images has returned. We live in a digital age – but there is something healing and transformative about creating images slowly and getting your fingers dirty as you do so.
Thank you Cynthia – I feel you’ve returned a wholeness to my creative process, something that was missing a long time. – Liz Scully
“Capture the Wow is magical and the best gift I’ve given myself! It helped me to connect with my inner Artist and Muse and to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us each moment. Now, I look forward to letting the adventure of Capture the Paris Wow color my life!”
“After Capture the Wow, I feel so competent and confident, having had such an adventure, having sought it, and done it. I so enjoyed you, Cynthia, glimpsing into your life, experiencing you as a full time creative person, living life as such.
Living connected to the muse within, living with my creative eye wide open, alert…may be the biggest impact on me.”
Oh yes! It’s possible to slow down, tune in and replenish in ways that will continue to move your life toward the good. Join other wowsters who feel calmer, more grounded and enjoy slowing down to savor the world through their senses.
Celebrate the Wow
At the end of our retreat, we show and share our journals. When sharing their journals, with others, Wowsters:
- notice patterns
- see and appreciate their ‘creative voice’
- gain insights into problems they’ve struggled with at home, work or in the studio.
This is a fun and rich way to end our time together. We close with a celebratory dinner.
