Taking my Creative Leap from Denver to
Europe on May 6, 2008 |
When I decided to take a Creative Leap and leave
my home behind to work and travel in Europe, the first thing I did was to gather
my wisest friends for a mastermind meeting. Over my homemade pizza and wine, we
brainstormed possibilities. My smart pals offered countless suggestions, gave
feedback and encouraged what could appear to be a crazy endeavor.
This meeting, and subsequent
gatherings with my support team, made my leap possible. Ongoing connection
helped me stay on track and guided me to make the right decisions. Over a
year’s time, I took 35 trips, made as much money as I did at home, and
blogged about it the whole time.
I can say with 110% conviction
that without support like this, I might very well have never left home. Every
bold move I have made has been fueled by the right kind of conversation and
encouragement.

This conviction that all good growth happens within a supportive environment is why I offer group
coaching in the Creative Leap Club. When you’re making something up out of thin
air – a business, a book, a blog – it’s vital to have the right kind of
conversations that offer support, resources, and encouragement to keep going
despite scary obstacles.
The Creative Leap Club is
your creativity incubator to develop your next bold move in an empowering
environment. In the heart of a community of others taking their creative
leaps, your vision is likely to be brought to fruition much more quickly and
easily than if you try to go it alone.
No matter where you
live, you can participate in this virtual club for creative adventurers.
Surrounded by peers making their own leaps and facilitated by a certified coach,
your leap will be easier, more fun and more successful, on your terms.
In the Creative Leap Club, you
will:
-
Share your vision and get feedback
that helps you polish your idea
-
Tap into resources from the group
that save time and effort
-
Learn from others who are making
their unique leaps
-
Be accountable for weekly action
items
-
Get professional and seasoned
coaching wisdom so you can drive past fears that threaten to keep you stuck

“Working
with Cynthia on financial empowerment was the most powerful coaching
experience I have had to date. I cleared up a lifetime of ‘baggage’
about money. I accomplished two of my year-long goals, opened
savings and retirement accounts, received a grant and am well on my
road to financial empowerment.”

You may have tried to take creative leaps without
support. At first, fueled by abundant enthusiasm for your great
idea, you take a few steps. Then, fears pop up. You find it easier
to go along with the status quo of your daily life than to power
past the fears. Perhaps you didn’t take the time to map out a doable
plan for your creative leap. In the gap between dreaming and
doing, fear and disorganization kept your leap on the ground.

What's Your Creative Leap?
-
focusing on an
art project from
start to finish
-
launching a new
business
-
putting up a
new web site
or blog
-
writing a book
or book proposal
-
fill in your
leap here….
|
Meet monthly with
your Creative Leap tribe. Interact with them on the Creative Leap
blog. Get invaluable support from a certified coach who has not only
coached others to their great leaps, but who has consistently and
successfully taken her own leaps.
Some of the leaps
I’ve taken:
-
Enjoyed a lifelong
dream of living in Europe while working and traveling.
-
Launched a business
that still thrives ten years later
-
Written and
self-published a book that others call ‘the best book on writing
I’ve read’
-
Launched and maintained
two blogs that attract hundreds of readers
-
Publish a monthly
newsletter since 2001, as well as several e-books
-
Design and lead
creativity tours in Europe, using my once-useless French degree
-
Undertook a
self-designed program of financial empowerment that allows me to
live the lifestyle I want
It’s not
because I’m so special that I’ve been able to take these leaps. It’s
because with my experience as a coach and the support of my
community, I’m able to repeatedly take big and successful leaps.
Behind every leap is a team of people who
have encouraged me, challenged me and cheered me on to dream big and
take action to make it happen.

“This
creativity camp was very important for me this summer. I
recognized the need for personal creativity, had fun
exploring and gained a sense of personal power. I
created a drawing blog and was asked to contribute to a
book on creativity. Participating has made changes that
will stay.”

What’s In Your Way?
For over ten years
I’ve been helping people take great leaps and we’ve successfully
steered past obstacles that derail most of us. Along the way, I’ve
noticed nine things that prevent the average person from
accomplishing what they want. Check the list and see if these
obstacles are stopping you.
You would take
your big leap if you were able to:
-
focus on one thing
-
develop a plan of
action you can stick to
-
leap past fears that
stop you from going forward
-
rebound after setbacks
and life’s messy intrusions
-
schedule and keep
appointments with yourself to take action
-
connect with supportive
people who help you go to the next level
-
have the right
resources to tap into to make things happen
-
be organized with your
time and efforts
-
complete projects so
you can share your work with others.
The Creative Leap
Club provides a space for you to make serious (and seriously fun)
progress on your project.
The Creative Leap
Club will encourage you to focus on one dream you want to make real
now. Learn how to set all your other brilliant ideas on the back
burner so you can focus on one without feeling like you’re
neglecting the others.
Break your
big vision down into doable steps that you can enact over time.
Map out the plan for where you want to go so you always know where
you are and what’s needed next.

Leaping Forward - Bakansa, the crow
yoga asana, July 2009 |
For every step I took on my
financial empowerment path (getting health insurance and a retirement account,
killing off $23,000 in debt) I faced an emotional obstacle. With gentle
encouragement from my support team, I was able to understand and overcome those
emotional blocks.
With weekly check-ins, monthly
calls and ongoing access to our community space, you can stay on track of your
leap at your pace and in your style. We’ll be using my 29 Ways to Take a
Creative Leap Special Report to pinpoint specific (and daring) steps to take
toward your leap.
Don’t go it alone. Make it
easier, quicker and more fun to bring your great ideas to fruition. I’m keeping
these groups small, so register now to be part of the Creative Leap Tribe.

“I was
so impressed with the quality of FEG. It was professionally done --
there was a clear structure to the calls, you made sure that
everyone had ample time to participate, and the buddy system in
between the calls was genius. You offered lots of resources and
support and enthusiasm. Thanks very much.”

Atlanta, Financial Empowerment Group member |

Meeting on the Phone Is Better Than You Think
Call
in from anywhere via telephone. U.S. Long distance charges apply. Not sure if
meeting on the phone will meet your needs? Here are the top reasons it can be
even better to gather on the phone:
-
Save time getting to a
location. Let’s face it; almost everyone is late these days. Gathering a
group into a physical space robs us of precious meeting time.
-
Save money getting to the
location. No gas or transportation fees to get to your phone!
-
Connect to the group from the
comfort of your home or office – with all your systems at easy reach
should you need to take notes, make recordings, draw pictures…
-
If you’re a visually-oriented person,
it can actually be better to be on the phone. Without all the visual
distraction, you can focus more easily on the conversation and get
the most out of the call.
Membership in the Creative Leap
Club is affordably priced so money isn’t an obstacle to living your dream now.
The membership fee is $500, payable at the beginning of this club cycle. That’s
only $125 per month. Compare that to the $400 per month it would cost to coach
one-one with me, and you’ll see that the Creative Leap Club is a great move – if
you’re truly ready to make your leap. No couch sitting in this group!
Register before August 30 and pay only $400 -- that's one month of support
for free!
